| Description: | While looking for a chlorine compression system, Henri Corblin invented the metal diaphragm compressor in 1916. Its compressor heads fully confine the gas in a leak-tight compression chamber. Sealing is ensured by static contact and is monitored by our Head Integrity Detection System (HIDS). Since its inception we have manufactured more than 8000 diaphragm compressors ranging up to 3000bar (43,500psi) and 250kW. A combination of stress analysis, material ion and package design (for gas stabilisation & regulation), ensures that our designs are precisely tailored to the special requirements imposed by various industry sectors, e.g. petrochemical, chemical, industrial gas, nuclear, diving, etc. Key features are. compact design - high pressure rise is achieved in comparatively few stages due to the high volumetric efficiency of the heads. gas cleanliness is maintained - the compression chamber''''s effective sealing ensures contamination-free compression. the ability to protect the compressor environment from contamination by the compressed gas due to its fully isolated chamber. safety system detecting the possible rupture of one of the three head diaphragms, maintaining compression chamber integrity. specific technical assessment of each individual application complete "plug & play" packages integrating control systems, gas treatment equipment and regulation equipment. easy maintenance operations mostly handled by the operators themselves.
